Well, the US footballers do dress a bit funny, but that's because we've been
away from Mother for a while.  But a lot of the terminology  of US football
sure sounds line Battle of the Somme.  Must have picked it up somewhere.
I've heard Brit schoolgirls were rounders.  Thanks for the confirmation.

Must have been seduced by "Peace in our time."  If I recall right, we were
fairly busy building aircraft and lending destroyers.   Figured it would
take 3 years to absorb the production.  Superb Brit defense of Malaya and
Singapore, BTW, when 1942 rolled around.  Do that act often?
