One thing you have to be careful about at Fry's is the repackaging policy.
You can win or you can lose.

With returns (somebody bought it and couldn't/wouldn't use it and returns it
for refund or trade), it gets "repackaged" and put back on the shelf for
resale, usually at a reduced price.  There's a label that informs you as
such if you happen to notice it.

The problem with the repackaged item?  Maybe nothing.  Or maybe it got
burned up and brought back.  Seems their
checking-it-out-policy-before-repackaging-it practice is hit or miss.  You
may end up with a DOA product.  Sure, you can bring it back for exchange,
but that's a pain.
