Adrian,

I think it would not only be a good idea to let the next guy on the list
know, but the group as well.  Not to try and keep tabs on anyone, but just
to give everyone an idea of where the ball is.  Otherwise I imagine a
string of emails to the list asking where it is, who has it, what's taking
so long, etc.

In the same vein, if anyone is going to be away from the QTH for a while, I
think they should let folks know so that the snowball can take a detour and
not be sitting on someone's porch for a week.
