I now use an FT-857D Yaesu as my mobile 6m radio..

Used to have a Ranger RCI-5054dx100, but it took up too much under
dash real estate & at times when shifting gears (5 speed-over drive
truck transmission) knuckles occasionally hit the front of the radio..

Now the Yaesu has a remote head just under the edge of the dash & the
radio & antenna tuner are behind the seat (Out of sight)..
