If you intend to work CW and SSB, you may be disappointed in the
performance of a vertical since all those stations are horizontally
polarized. I've found a simple dipole up 14 feet works decently, though
it would often work better if higher. For a couple years I've been using
a scrap of a beam having only driven element and reflector. A couple
weeks ago I worked Scotland from Iowa with that rebuilt beam even with
my house's eaves. I hope to get it higher some day soon. With the
competition with the gutter, I had to wait until most of the country had
worked that station.
Otherwise the easiest way to get to a 6m vertical is probably to start
with an ll meter vertical (conventional design with 3 or 4 radials) and
shorten it by the ratio 27/50.
