[SMCARA] Fw: Upcoming RACES Exercise

 Good Afternoon, I'll send out one more request for support for this exercise... I did confirm with the POC that they only need one ham on site at the St. Mary's County EOC on Hollywood Leonardtown Road next Tuesday from 0800 - 1400. This is mainly a "table top" exercise and the ham would be there to answer question on capabilities. For instance, if the evaluator asked "how would you communicate if you had an outage". They would turn to the ham who would respond with something like "we have multiple repeaters and simplex frequencies at our disposal and have the ability to communicate in a complete grid down situation."   
I realize this is a week day and very hard for people to get off. Just wanted to put out one more request before I gave them a negative response.

 Good Afternoon, On 9/13, the local counties are holding the CALVEX which is an exercise involving the nuclear plant in Calvert County. The St. Mary's County of Emergency Services has asked for assistance from the Amateur Radio community. I will be out of town that week and unable to attend. It should kick off sometime between 0800 and 0900 and be completed by 1400. If we have a person or two that can support, please let me know and we'll get you plugged in with the Emergency Coordinator.
