Good Afternoon SMCARA, We have supported this event the last few years and had a good time doing it. If anyone is available that day and would like to help out, please let me know. We usually do HF voice and digital along with VHF repeater and Fusion. This event usually has a good turnout of kids and proves to be a fun and rewarding day. I also put the invite out to Charles County as well so we should have a good turnout of hams.

Greetings!
It is with great pleasure that St. Mary’s County Public Schools (SMCPS) announces the return of our annual STEM Festival! This year’s festival theme is Cybersecurity and Information Technology, and the STEM Festival Committee is excited to begin planning the event and welcoming everyone back to in-person STEM exploration. Just like last year, this year’s festival will include the integration of the Arts, making it a STEAM festival!
If you are unfamiliar with STEM festivals, we welcome you to visit the Maryland STEM Festival page. Each year, the state designates a month-long celebration of all things science, technology, engineering, and math. This STEM-related exploration takes place through in person festivals and online events. Our local event will be held at the St. Mary’s County Fairgrounds on Saturday, October 29, 2022. Festivities will run from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and will feature fun, food, and phenomena! Click here to view this year's Festival flyer.
If you are interested in hosting an exhibit at our event, we request that you respond to this invitation as soon as possible.
Should you have any questions or would like more information about the STEAM Festival, please contact me.
Thank you for your consideration.
