[SMCARA] Hamfest update - 2 tables still available, etc.

Folks:
I plan to provide a full update at the Club meeting on Thur. 23rd Sept. but
we are planning to set up tables/chairs in the HVFD main building plus
"Caution-Tape-off" the outside Tailgate area starting 1730 PM Friday evening
24th.
Hamfest notice signs to post outdoors are being prepared & should be
available this week for pickup.
Volunteers - Please be available to help these efforts.
Once tables are arranged, I believe sellers should be able to set-out their
treasures for sell/trade.

We plan on having coffee and donuts available, but in spite of your many
suggestions for possible food vendors, I've not been able to find any
available.
The county fair weekend and the Air Test Museum car show on Saturday appears
to have priority.
However, should you come across a likely vendor, please contact me.

Of the 18 tables we had available, only two remain unspoken for.
However, only 5 are paid for at this time, 2 more are guaranteed for CARA,
leaving 9 awaiting payment (payment by check due 16th Sept. so checks in the
mail??).
Should further requests come in once these 2 remaining are reserved, I'll
keep a list of late requesters on a first-come-first-notified basis for
tables unpaid.

NOTE - to minimize empty tables during the 'Fest, the Club as decided that
tables unused by 0900 Sat. 25th Sept. will be available for re-selling
UNLESS the original assignee contacts us.
