CQ, CQ, CQ,  With the fact that 70% of Marylanders have had at least one inoculation for the COVID-19 virus and that Governor Hogan has lifted many restrictions on gatherings, We can resume our Breakfast with Hams Tradition! ; - ) .
I have checked with our local Cracker Barrell on Rte 235 in California, Maryland and with some caveats we can meet again as we have in the past.I have spoken with the "Host of the Floor". She has requested that we gather in the shop area and when our group is complete, go to her podium and request a table or tables to accommodate all that have gathered. If you wish to join us, please be in the Cracker Barrell store area between 0730 and prior to 0745 this coming Saturday June 12, 2021  So if you snooze you loose. Wearing of a face mask is optional for this gathering.
Our esteemed Vice President, Pete Butt has set up an opportunity for SMCARA Members  and friends to  journey after breakfast to the Patuxent River Naval Air Museum and start preparations of the installation of our ham radio station at the Museum. Conduit has been run by the building refurbishment contractor so that our antenna lead in cables can be rerun overhead directly to our station area. This is part of the overall installation plans.The additional contracting work of  the installation of the conduit  has been sponsored by the Museum for SMCARA.
Please plan on joining me this coming Saturday 6/12/2021 for our meet and greet at Cracker Barrell and continuation to the Museum for SMCARA station installation set up.
