Good Afternoon!

There’s alot going on with the ARES team. To start with, we will do Winlink Weds todaywith everyone sending me a message using the ICS-213 form, using either RF orTelnet. This week, give me a status breakdown of your capabilities: 

HF – (6mthrough 40m) and power

UHF/VHF – 5Watts (HT Only) or 50Watts Base and/or 50WattsMobile

Emergency Power – Battery Only (approximate runtime) {orGenerator, Solar, etc)

Able to deploy? For How Long? Portable Capability?

 

Next, wewill not have our ARES net tomorrow night, 12/2 but instead will participate ina Zoom planning meeting for the MD/DC section exercise planned for 1/6/22. Ifyou are planning to participate in the exercise, you are welcome to join the Zoommeeting. Jon, can you update the calendar to reflect the Zoom meeting and nonet. Here’s the Zoom info.
