Hi Eddie!
I have found that almost any of the Icom mics from that era will work.
There are also a couple of Icom desk mics that actually sound a little
better.

OR, do a little DIY and cobble something together!  I took an old CB
dynamic mic and replaced the element with an Electret element, as Icoms are
not set up for magnetic mics.  A few minutes with your slobbering iron and
an 8 Pin connector and you're good to go.
