Morning Grant! Sorry you were not able to get into the net last night, we had a good one. At the end of the net, in a discussion about what we were doing to help kill time I mentioned that I was listening to shortwave in the evenings, better than TV these days!


The receiver sounds pretty cool, but I need another radio like I need a hole in the head :)  But if no one else claims it over the next week or so, I'll take it.

Hello all-
N4PGG here.
I tried to check in tonight.  No one could hear me.  I think it was
because I was transmitting from inside the house with the interference from
the several "smart" lightbulbs and plugs.  I suspect if I had just gone
outside, ya'll could have heard me.

I heard the net wrap up with the note that someone is listening to SW
radio.

Free to good home;
 A couple of years ago, my son (with W4OKW's help) built an 4SQRP Ozark
Patrol SW receiver.  Nifty thing for listening.  Just needs a good
antenna.
Arthur is cleaning out his room in preparation for his next adventure in
the U.S. Army and would like to place the receiver in a good home.  Maybe
somebody who wants to listen to SW.

If you want it, speak up. It's yours.
