27 Feb Meeting Minutes have been posted on the SMCARA website. Please let us know if you see anything that needs to be corrected.

Tony Barrett, N5TB will be heading up our Summer Field Day with Tom Clarke, W4OKW as his right hand man, and asked folks to let Tony or Tom know your location suggestion(s) or other suggestions for FD 2020.

This seemed like a good time to list the events and dates currently on our 2020 calendar.

Past Events:

25 Jan		Winter Field Day was held at PAX River NAS Museum

29 Feb		Technology and Arts Expo (STEAM FEST) was held at Patuxent River NAS Museum from 1000 to 1700 in the “Radio Room”

Upcoming Events:

8 Mar		Lower Potomac Half Marathon Comm Support in Piney Point, MD from 0700 to 1100

26 April		5th Annual Connector Workshop at home of Jeff and Pam Humbert in Charles County from 1300 to 1700

3 May		Fox Hunt - somewhere in Southern MD from 1200 to 1600

27/28 June	Summer Field Day - QTH TBD, set up usually starts about 0900 on Sat and we run radios from 1400 Sat to whenever we get tired on Sunday

3 Oct		8th Annual TailgateFest at Hollywood Fire Department Bingo Hall and Parking Lot from 0800 to 1200

SMCARA Weekly Nets on Tuesdays on 146.640 repeater at 1930
Lower Potomac Weekly Net on Sundays on 147.390 repeater at 2000
Bi-Weekly ARES Net on 1st and 3rd Thursdays on 147.390 repeater at 2000
Monthly SMCARA Meetings on 4th Thursdays (excluding June, Nov. and Dec) alternating between Pax Museum and HVFD Bingo Hall 
Monthly HAM Breakfast on 1st Saturdays at Cracker Barrel at 0800
Monthly Local Hospital Net on Wednesday following 3rd Monday of Month on 3820 at 1900
