Folks:

Having some great 6m openings to FM18 - EU & Caribbean & SA - copied HI & JA
for the first time ever this past week on a 7-element LFA 30' boom.

 

However, I've the M2 49' 9 element available (can't use it here w/ the HF
beam & tower geometry) for $575 obo.

M2 quality at only 35 lb. weight - I put it up & removed it myself so don't
fret the 49' boom (bought new).

On the ground (disassembled) & ready for a new home (booms are 8' long).

Gain 14.8 dbi (Subtract 2.14 for dBD in free space to compare other mfg.

Front to back 23 dB typical

Power handling - 3 kW (never put more than 300 watts to it in the 18 mo. of
use).

Boom 49' 4", turning radius 27' 7"

Wind area 4.3 sq. ft.   (rotor likely light - medium duty OK??) & Survival
100 MPH.

 

M2 ridiculous price is $1,213.95; Ham City asks $889.95; unlisted in HRO; DX
Engineering stock is out & not taking back orders.

 

EME folks claim working 6m  moon bounce w/ the 7 element M2 beam & a KW.
