Good Afternoon Everyone!

 As I announced late last year, I have taken over as the St. Mary's County Emergency Coordinator (EC) and would like to resurrect an ARES net in the County. With that goal in mind, we are holding the first net this coming Thursday, 1/16 at 2000 on the 147.390 (PL:123.0) repeater located in Leonardtown. For the first few months, we will be holding the net bi-weekly then probably shift to a weekly net at some point in the future.



 I do not have access to a list of current ARES members for Saint Mary's county so if you would like to be a member, please send me an email and I will in turn send you an application. Please send email to: n2omc at arrl.net<mailto:n2omc at arrl.net>.



Please be patient as we get things rolling and transition the EC role from Ray Brown to myself. I appreciate Ray's efforts over the years with the EC role and I look forward to keeping the ball rolling in a positive direction.
