 Thanks Rob!

Nice to meet you also. I've received several emails from nice folks also
on the mailing list. I really appreciate the warm welcome. Regarding
Webster Field, I saw at some point that you had an SCMS email--chances
are good that we may have unknowingly crossed paths before at Building
8185, if you ever get over there. I am the guy with all of the different
right hand drive cars, if you ever see those in the parking lot or on base.

Yes, I pretty much have a glorified radio fleet... I could start my own
radio dispatched taxicab service, LOL

I spoke to Mike S. earlier today and he said he has my information and
if he is able to coordinate a test he would let me know. Fingers
crossed, we shall see! Worst case scenario I can probably do it online
with GLAARG via video chat. I know they are proctoring online exams for
people. But, I'd prefer to do it in person and meet some of the team.

I just added the W3ZO (145.390) repeater to my scan list on my VHF
CDM1250 today and I was pretty happy to hear lots of people talking.

I have a pretty large catalog of Motorola CPS software
(XPR/XTS/HT/Saber/MOTOTRBO, etc.), so if anyone needs anything specific,
let me know and I can check. I also have programming cables for
CDM1250/1550, HT750/1250/1550, and XTS2500/3000/5000 if anyone needs that.

I'm very much looking forward to being more involved and will be sure to
keep an eye on the email traffic.

Thank you again for the warm welcome.

Scott
