Hello All!

Have a great FD!  I'm sorry to miss all the fun, but am sure everyone will have a blast.  Thanks to Tony and all who helped get this thing going!

Enjoy the pot luck  on Saturday and be sure to bring the family and some friends. RSVP would be nice.

Don't let poor Tony go "solo" on Saturday night, keep those stations cranking out QSOs, by spending a few hours during the evening/night. Since we are air conditioned this year, mosquitos and humidity is not an issue!

Subject: [External][SMCARA] Field Day This Weekend!

Good Afternoon Folks,
 Well the big weekend we all look forward to every year is finanly here! This weekend is Field Day and SMCARA will be holding our event this year at the Pax River NAS Museum. Tony and a goup of other folks plan on showing up at the museum around 0900 Sat morning to setup and get everything ready. The contest officialy starts at 1400E. Feel free to show up when you can, there is some setup required but not a lot. As for stuff to bring, Tony advises he has everything we need however, it never hurts to throw spare parts, connectors, coax, etc. in the car in case it is needed. Talk-in will be on the 146.640 (PL: 145.2) repeater.

June has sent out an email requestig a head count for dinner on Sat evening and side dishes if you are bringing one. So if you plan on eating with us Sat evening and have not let June know yet, please send her an email and let her know:  jdentzi at hotmail.com

We will also be holding a test session on Sat starting at 1300 so if you are a VE and can help out, please show up by then.

This should prove to be a great event with a lot of good food and tons of contacts being made. I look forward to seeing everyone there this weekend and enjoying Field Day!
