[SMCARA] Field Day

CQ CQ CQ.  I  hope everyone is excited about this years field day.  I will need a couple of items from everyone who is planning on attending.  First, since we will be inside the museum when it is open, we have a great opportunity to educate the public on our club and amateur radio in general.  We will have a “public Relations” table set up right in front of the room we will be operating in. We will need that table manned at least when the museum is open. If you have any old DST magazines you wouldn’t mind people taking, please bring them.   So please let me know when you can man the table.

If you have a club shirt, please wear it.  If you have a name tag, please wear that.  You can order embroidered or printed shirts from Chesapeake embroidery on 235.  I can’t attach a link but their phone number is 3018624848. I am unsure of turn around time or prices, but they already have our club logo ready to go.

And finally the good stuff.  I need to know how many people will be actually attending for food purposes.   The club will be providing burgers, dogs, drinks, and eating supplies.  WE will have the grill set up out back of the building.  I will need a list as soon as possible so we can get the ball rolling and the shopping done.
