[SMCARA] August Meeting Reminder

Good Morning Everyone!

 This is a friendly reminder of the August SMCARA membership meeting taking place next Thursday, 22 August at 7:30PM. The location for the meeting this month will be the Hollywood Fire Department Bingo Hall.



 We are going to change it up a little this month for the presentation and let the members help with it. So the "presentation" will be a show and tell by the members of anything of interest involving their time as a Ham. So bring in a favorite QSL card, QSL card collection, piece of equipment, pictures of shacks or places you have operated, etc. I have participated in these before in other clubs and they always turn out to be very interesting and enjoyable. This will be informal, you don't have to give a long speech or have slides or anything like that. We'll just go around the room and if you have something to share, even if it's just a story of a memorable QSO, etc, that's fine as well.



 So come on out next Thursday and join us for an interesting evening and also get updates on all of the upcoming activity the club will be involved in, we have a lot going on!
