[SMCARA] STEM Radio Support

Good Morning Folks, Some fresh air and coffeegot me in the mood to type up an email.. Last October a few of us manned a tableat the STEM Festival that is sponsored by St. Mary’s County Public Schools andis held at the St. Mary’s County Fairgrounds. I guess we did a good enough jobsince they extended us an invite to come back again this year.
  So with that said, we will be manning an Amateur Radio “demo”at the Festival this year taking place at the Fairgrounds on 27 October, 10:00 –2:00PM. We plan on doing some fox hunting, HF, CW, and contacts on localrepeaters and Echolink. This is an excellent event with a large turnout ofschool age kids that last year, showed a surprising amount of interest in radioand amazingly enough, CW. 
 If anyone has some time to support the effort, we could usethe help! Even if you can only commit for an hour a two we’d be glad to haveyou stop by and help out. If you can assist, please shoot me an email and letme know so I have some idea of head count. 

 Everyone enjoy the rest of the weekend and this greatweather, I guess Mother Nature finally realized it’s Fall!
