The repeater is up with the new controller functioning well, and I even hacked the time with WWV! CTCSS on transmit is active for you TSQ fans, and the tone is still 146.2. The power output to the antenna is 50 watts (double, 3 db) over the backup repeater which is now in the standby slot. Should help on the fringes.

You will hear some random announcements for the net tonight ( I need to program it to give the time too) and the meeting on Thursday. There is a plug for the tailgate fest also. It says hamfest, but tailgate and fest are not in the CAT dictionary!

If you key up and enter 400 from your TT pad, it will read back the time. There is a TT Pad test function, but I don't recall the access code! Stay tuned and I'll post it.

I have programmed the controller to disable the timeout timer from 7-9 PM on net nights, so you don't need to "get a nickel" to keep the alligator from getting you. I am working on disabling the CTCSS during the net also, thus making it an open machine for the net times. Not there yet, but working on the code.

Try it on the net tonight. Let me know how the audio sounds, and if the levels are OK. The courtesy tone time is 3 seconds and courtesy tone to carrier drop is 5 seconds now and they may be too long. Let me know. If all goes well, I'll move it back to the big tower in Hermanville next week.

I'll miss the meeting this month as I will be up in W2 land doing "grandpa" stuff. Back in battery next Tuesday.
