[SMCARA] Second Call - Public Service for LPR Marathon Volunteers

WHAT: This is a second call for volunteers to provide Public Service
communications for the Lower Potomac River Marathon

WHEN:  Sunday, 11 March 2018, 7:00 a.m. to 1 p.m.

WHERE:  Piney Point MD, Harry Lundberg School of Seamanship

HOW:  Operations Plan to be published shortly by Bill KB4QAA

 

Desired Equipment:  Vehicle mobile radios, HT's, and assistant operators.
Higher power radios and gain or directional antennas will be helpful due to
geography, distance from repeaters and length of course.

 

TIMELINE:  

-0615 Gather inside the HLSS grounds

-0700 Operators to assigned race course stations

-0715 Race Start

-1130 Deputy Sheriff departs Halfway Point

-1130-1315 Free Buffet Luncheon, Paul Hall Center

-1300 Race Closure
