The 64 repeater is now back on the 150 foot tower at Hermanville.  The higher antenna elevation combined with an antenna gain of 5.25 dbd should increase the coverage. The backup site is only 100 feet and a unity gain (0 dbd), so a had lot less coverage.

You will notice some random announcements, such as "Meeting tonight at 7:30 PM" and "Message 4".  These are artifacts from the previous software and I will reload the updated software soon.  There should be an announcement randomly on every Tuesday for the Net.  

Two user features that are available now are: 1.  Time Request =  Key up and enter DTMF "400".  You can also test your DTMF pad by keying 375 + some keypad entries.  It will read back what you typed. More features to come. The controller will also disable the timeout timer, so you don't have to "get a nickel" during the net.

If you are using a scanner, turn the volume down while transmitting, otherwise you will get a horrendous echo from the scanner when you Tx!  The repeater has a 750 ms audio delay built in to eliminate that annoying "squelch crash" you hear on some repeaters.

The 120 watt "afterburner" will be installed soon, as will the 440 Link for control operators use.
