[SMCARA] Gene Guazzo passing and April monthly meeting notice

Dear SMCARA Members and friends,For those who may have known Dr. Gene Guazzo of Chaptico, MD, He became a SK on April 8, 2018. Dr. Guazzo was interested in amateur radio from his college days when one of his professors gave him a BC-378. Dr. Guazzo was on 2M for a while and had a Icom-740 HF rig at his farm house in Maddox, MD.On a happier note, our "breakfast with hams" was, again this month, a great success. There were fourteen members and friends enjoying various breakfast treats. Also all of the SMCARA officers were in attendance. Thanks to all for your efforts.One final note: Please remember that our monthly meeting for April is coming up on this Thursday evening on the 26th.We will have another reminder coming out soon on the reflector for place, time and agenda from our president, June Entzi KC3GYL
