[SMCARA] Tuesday Night SMCARA Net

SMCARA,   Good evening everyone here on the reflector.  First off I would like to apologize for not making the net last night.  No excuses, I just dropped the ball.  If someone picked up the net, it is much appreciated!   

Secondly, I have an announcement about the Tuesday night net as it goes forward.  The President and myself have discussed it for a couple weeks now, and we have come to a decision to discontinue the net for the summer. We will look at starting it back in the fall.   This is do to several issues, one of which being the normal fall off in check-ins during the nice long summer days.  All 2 meter nets tend to have this summer falloff, unless they are later nets.  With the amount of check-ins that we have been getting we can’t afford to lose any and the net still be worth the effort.  That said, we all can look at possibly starting the net back up in October if the interest is there.  If someone would like to take the net on through the summer, you are more than welcome, and I would be happy to forward you the format and all information.  If you are interested, please let everyone know right here on the reflector, so you don’t loose possible check-ins.  Thanks to those who have been loyal check-ins on a weekly basis, and I hope to still hear you all on the local machines.
