Hey Ray,
What is the call sign/node number, for the EL node? EL website search didn't show anything in the SoMD area, besides Sam, K3KLC-L and a couple up the road.
IRLP node 8856, KB3FWW shows up in IRLP directory.

Subject: [SMCARA] IRLP /ECHOLINK node

Gene and I installed the IRLP/ECHOLINK node on the tower at the Hollywood VFD.

The frequency is 449.490, simplex PL 146.2

To connect to Echolink ID, pause While transmitting Send “*” and node number, example *9999.

Try it, it is the Echoing reflector, it will record your voice and play it back when you release the PPT. For IRLP it is the same process except enter just the node number, example 9999.

To disconnect Transmit “73” works for both IRLP and ECHOLINK.

Remember to slow down a little bit. Key up wait a second before you talk. It give the computers time to switch from analog to digital and back.

Go to the web sites to find node numbers. Enjoy, if you need assistance email me.
