Congratulations, Rob!
Now you need to write an article for Q STreet with the details of your rig, antenna, etc. I wonder when the first transatlantic QSO will be logged? This is reminiscent of the early days of the 20th century. Congratulations again!

Subject: [SMCARA] 1st US 2200 Meter QSO
Last Saturday, K4LY and I completed the first documented US two-way amateur QSO on the new 2200 meter band. We used JT-9 to communicate over the 612 kM path. On Saturday there were two amateur stations active on the band. Today there are four, but don’t worry, there is still plenty of room on the band for all!
It’s all great fun!
