SMARCA March 2017 meeting minutes
Meeting was called to order at 1940 by President Tom Shelton ND3N.
Introductions around the room – attendees were as follows:

New Business: Tom discussed switching meeting location between air museum and Hollywood fire department.  It was decided that we would do every other month at each location, with Aprils meeting at the air museum and May’s meeting at the fire department to facilitate training on the login software for field day.
Meeting time will remain at 1930.

No action will be taken at this time to remove or contact Chris Ordiway. His membership has lapsed so he is no longer an active member.

Treasurers report was presented by Ren/W3BNY. Report is attached.  Report was accepted into record.

Jason/N3YUG passed along information for the Museum Ships on the Air weekend. It will start at 0000Z June 3rd and continue to 2359Z June 4th.  We are looking at possible working with the CARA club and will be in St. Mary’s City.  Please contact Jason or Mike if interested.  (Jason has since sent out an email on the club reflector with exact details)

Presentation by KC0ODK Lawrence Robinson on the life of Arthur A. Collins and his contribution to radio communications.

$44 dollars in total was collected for 50/50 drawing.  Drawing was won by Jason/N3YUG

Meeting was adjourned at 2100.
