[SMCARA] SMCARA Field Day 2017 wrap up

Now that Field Day 2017 is in our rear view mirror, I'd like to thank some
of the people who made this year's event happen.

Thank you Gene Talley (N3NO) for loaning your antenna tower and portable
communication van for our field day. 
Thank you for coordinating with the Hollywood VFD and allowing us to use
their facilities.

Thank you Tom Clarke (W4OKW) for stepping up to the plate and taking on the
duties of coordinating the association's efforts.

Thank you June Entzi (KC3GYL) for being the food czar, obtaining all of the
association's food, drink, utensils, providing the generator, etc. et al.  

Thank you Rene (W3BNY) for being there to take care of financial issues and
holding volunteer exam sessions.

Thank you Lee (N8HTG) for providing the 80 and 40 meter dipoles.

Thank you to the SMCARA members who helped set up radios, erect antennas,
haul supplies, maintain generators and generally 'make it happen'.  
You made it possible for other members to enjoy the event.

We made just under 500 contacts (including Hawaii!).

Hope to see all of you next year.
