Hi...Remember me.

Hope you have all been well and doing great.  Live at Chez Lapin has been
hectic.  Toss in a family loss and a parent with dementia and you can get
the picture.  But enough about me, lets talk about the club.

1.  DUES etc.  I will be there on Saturday (pretty much all day and most of
the evening) to schmooze, give Boz hell about computer CW, eat hamburgers
and most importantly to take your hard earned money for club and ARRL
dues!  (You are a member of the ARRL right?)  This also include renewals
for ARRL too!  so come on down and bring some money!  (cash and checks are
always accepted).

2.  Re-imbursements.  If you spent your own money for an APPROVED field day
expense.  Please bring the original receipt SIGNED BY THE PRESIDENT showing
what you paid and I will cut you a check right then.  That way the
"Ministry of Finance" wont be complaining about you getting paid

3.  Amateur Radio testing:  Yes, we will do it.  I will be there all day
and we should have enough VE's to take care of any amateur test you wish to
take.  This is an open session and no reservations will be required.  BUT,
if you want to get licensed or upgrade please have the prospective ham or
any one who wished to upgrade e-mail me OFF-LIST to
w3bnyren(at)gmail(dot)com so I can get an idea of how many are coming and
get them the testing rules as well as the preliminary paperwork to fill
out.  Matter of fact, here is a public link to the pre-testing information
sheet and paperwork .  Hopefully it wont get scrubbed.

notice the form 605 isn't on there as we will fill it out on site just in
case there are any questions.  But a couple of favors please.

a.  CASH IS KING and EXACT EVEN BETTER ($14.00)!  If you must (sigh) bring
a check or money order please make it out to Rene J. Ramirez.  NO BITCOIN,
PAYPAL, CHICKENS OR SHINIES accepted.  Cash (preferred) Personal
check/Money order (sigh).

b.  PLEASE do not come for an upgrade and ask to have me look up and print
out your license.  We may or may not have internet and I am not going to do
your pre-test preparation and I am not going to test you without it.  I'd
prefer if you even brought your own copy but we can work around that (if
the scanner/printer is working.  If its not working, refer to being
prepared and don't get huffy.).  Its just nicer if you are prepared for the
exam as per the instruction sheet provided.

Otter than that folks, I am looking forward to Field Day!  I cleared my
Saturday to spend the day with the group and hope you can all come out and
help me give Boz grief X3
