I just wanted to send out a quick reminder about the APRS workshop on Saturday November 12, 2016. The classroom portion will begin at 0900. We will take a break around 1200 for lunch, and then begin our field practical.    WeatherBug forecast for Saturday is mostly sunny. Highs in the lower 50s with northwest winds at 5 to 10 mph. So it looks like it’s going to be a great day for the workshop. However, I do recommend that you dress warm. The wind can make it a little chill on top of these cliffs.    Also, remember to bring any APRS equipment that you have access to. If you don’t have any, that is fine. We should have enough to pair everyone up. If you have a non-APRS HT, bring that as well. We can use them for voice communications during the field practical.     Last but not least, lunch is NOT provided this year. So please plan accordingly.
