Hi Dave,

I suspect the default settings will get you going FB. Just pick a call like "W3DLQ-7" for instance and set the path to "WIDE2-2".

Give it a few minutes to propagate through the system and then go to "APRS.FI" on the WWW and look for your call. OpenAPRS.net will also work.

You will see K3NAL-1 which is the digipeater in Lex Park as well as N3JTX-3 which is in LTown plus a few local users- W4OKW-9, W3SMD-1, ND3N (I think he sold his APRS rig though!) W3GJ and a bunch up the road.

Typically SSIDs are -1 for Digis, HTs use -7, mobiles use -9. None of which is cast in stone.

Subject: [Non-DoD Source] [SMCARA] FTM-100 help

I just bought the FTM-100 and am in the process of programing it. I'd like to set-up the APRS in the radio but don't have the slightest idea of even the base setting for APRS.

Just wondering if anyone has this set-up and wouldn't mind sending me a copy of your .dat file in the clone folder from the SD card. Or even the RT Systems file if your using that software.

Thanks in advance.
