[SMCARA] Update - SMCARA Elections

The following persons have been nominated and will accept the position if
elected:

June Entzi 		KC3GYL		Secretary
Rene Ramirez 		W3BNY		Treasurer
Richard Bozovich	N1LID		Vice President

I want to thank everyone who has asked me (both in public and private) to
run again for SMCARA President.

I will not have as much time available this year as I have in the past.
Therefor I must decline the nomination
for president. However, I humbly accept your nomination for Vice President
and will accept the office if elected.

We will accept nominations for officer positions via e-mail from now until
Thursday, July 21st at noon EST. 
You may nominate yourself, if desired.  

To nominate someone via e-mail, you must be a member in good standing (dues
paid up to date).  In the body
of the e-mail include your full name and amateur radio call sign. In
addition, clearly articulate the nominated person's 
First Name/Last Name, officer position and call sign in the e-mail body.

We will close out nominations for officer positions Thursday, July 21st at
Noon EST and accept e-mail votes for
association officers until Thursday, July 28th at 1700 EST.  

At the July 28th association meeting, we will tally electronic votes and
accept additional votes from any members 
present.

I highly encourage your participation in this process.  It's your
association - please vote.  If you would like to see 
the incumbents remain in their positions, say so.  If you would like someone
else to assume any of the officer positions, say so.
