[SMCARA] Association Officer nominations and election

SMCARA Hams:

I'd like to discuss a very important topic: Association officer nominations
and elections.

On Thursday, July 28th we will elect / re-elect our association officers.
The following officer positions are up for election / re-election:

President		
Vice President		
Secretary		
Treasurer		

We will accept nominations for these positions via e-mail from now until
Thursday, July 21st at noon EST. 
You may nominate yourself, if desired.  

To nominate someone via e-mail, you must be a member in good standing (dues
paid up to date).  In the body of the e-mail include your 
full name and amateur radio call sign. In addition, clearly articulate the
nominated person's First Name/Last Name, officer position and call sign in
the 
e-mail body.

We will close out nominations for officer positions Thursday, July 21st at
Noon EST and accept e-mail votes for association officers until 
Thursday, July 28th at 1700 EST.  

At the July 28th association meeting, we will tally electronic votes and
accept additional votes from any members present.

I highly encourage your participation in this process.  It's your
association - please vote.  If you would like to see the incumbents remain
in their positions, say so.  If you would like someone else to assume any of
the officer positions, say so.
