[SMCARA] Happy New Year all

    First I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year!  I hope everyone made it through 2015 safe with good health.  It was a great year here at the N3YUG QTH.  I felt honored to be part of you officers elected this past year, and I hope we can continue to do good stuff for our membership. This years Field Day was a lot of fun and very successful. We also had some great events like the Tailgate Fest, thanks to all who put on these events and gatherings!  
     Personally I have really enjoyed the past two years getting back in to Amateur Radio, and I have been lucky enough to build a really nice station for my situation.  Adding new items to my station has gotten me on some old tube rigs, Dstar, and kept me busy on Digital modes. I am not a big contester, but I did enjoy working RTTY, CW, and SSB contests this year. I also added a good amount of entities to my DXCC this year, and reached DXCC on three separate bands this year.  I thank all those out there for checking into our SMCARA net and the Suitland Area nets with me and the other Net Control Stations.  I look forward the event with the SMCARA this year and seeing everyone in person and on the air!
