[SMCARA] Anderson Powerpole Connectors

Someone in our club made mention of using Powerpoles the other day.

I just ordered a set of 10 pair of the 30 amp connectors to use on trailer 
wiring for starters.   They claim to be self cleaning which should be a plus 
for outdoor exposure.

Can someone give me a quick tutorial on Anderson Powerpoles, ie minimum 
needs, what all you would really like to have, warnings etc.
