I echo what Tom has said.
You can get 8ft ground rods at Lowes. Look in the electrical aisle. They are copper clad steel. You would't want a solid copper rod because it would break the budget and it would be too soft to drive into the ground.
If you decide to go new or need parts for a reclaimed tower, there is a company in Ashland, VA that sells Rohn tower sections and all the components that you would ever need.
