[SMCARA] homebrew antenna for 4G

This one is for the antenna builders in the crowd... We just received 
our 4G Jetpack to use for home internet and I'm interested in building 
an outdoor antenna to improve our signal. It's already an improvement 
over what we had but I'm pretty sure it's picking up a VA tower instead 
of the one just down the street. I think if I set up an external antenna 
that I can point in that direction we'll get a much better signal. So, 
has anyone built an antenna meant for 4G? They sell them on Amazon but 
danged if I'm spending $100+ on one. I've watched a few YouTube videos 
on dipole and Yagi style builds but thought I'd ask if anyone has had 
success with a particular plan.
