As an opening comment, YES a great swap and shop accomplished by many SMCARA volunteers! go Chris!

For Ray, The Museum Board room is available for RACES meetings on some evenings. Mari, the Executive Secretary, recommends scheduling on either Monday or Friday evenings. Schedule directly with her at 301.863.1900 . Thank you for the update on the F-35 painting progress.
For Chris, call me for the Museum wifi address. Chris is planning to use one of the monitors at our amateur radio station to display satellite data in real time.Chris will be updating our overall station appearance with this addition for visitors.

I informed Mari that SMCARA will not hold any more meetings this year and that our next meeting will be the fourth Thursday in January, 1/28/2016.
I have floated a suggestion with some of you that we try to stimulate some more interest and possibly more participation in our monthly meetings. To this end, I have asked Eric Heard to provide me with a list of recently licensed amateurs in our area. I am recommending a telephone campaign to suggest to these new amateurs that they attend one of our meetings. I volunteer to head up the list compilation by asking Eric to provide a list from his class notes. Then I will ask for volunteers from our members to help me contact these new hams by phone. Comments welcome, make them positive suggestions.
Also contact me if you plan on using the our Museum station and I will prepare a list for Mari and/or the gift shop people. Let me have your name and call sign and I will compile the list. Station operators and SMCARA volunteers will not need to pay the $5.00 entrance fee if on this list.
