Everything starts by activation by the County. Then a call on the repeater, the 05 in this case to standby and monitor the repeater and by ready to move to simplex 146.490 if the repeater goes down. Requests would be made to man the EOC. Three people to cover 24 hours. Next would depends on how many shelters are opened. Would need three people to man each shelter for 24 hour coverage. Sometimes the EOC ask to man the firehouses, not often. The other amateurs would be asked to monitor weather conditions from their locations reporting flooding, trees down, power outages, etc.
