[SMCARA] Is courtesy dead?

Agreed!!!

There are many other priorities in life and it takes time to build a quality
repeater. I have been working on a pair of 70cm repeaters for the better
part of this year and my travel for work and other obligations have slowed
my progress.
Pete and Tom both have many other priorities and obligations in their lives
and I am grateful for the time they do spend assisting the club with the
repeater issues.

To Tom and Pete ... Thank You!!!

Dan Metcalf - W3DMJ

Seriously, is courtesy dead?

I'd like to personally thank Tom and Pete for all of the time and effort
they've spent on our sick "64" machine. I look forward to it being back up
and running since I only have an HT but I understand that things take time
(or money). I'm sure that all of the driving back and forth, research and
testing during their (unpaid) free time gets old. I think that most of us
greatly appreciate your efforts guys. I encourage the grumps to head to HRO
or eBay with a credit card for a new repeater if they feel so strongly about
the situation, the club will gladly take the donation and the problem will
be immediately resolved. But I'm sure Tom and Pete would still be nice
enough to fix the current machine so we'd finally have that backup. They're
swell guys like that.

And now back to storm prep.

Cheers & 73,

*Chris Ordiway - KC3DIG*
