The St. Mary's County Amateur Radio Club will be presenting a public
demonstration of Amateur (Ham) radio emergency communications. Come and see
how Ham radio can support community events and provide emergency
communications during weather and civil emergencies. Learn how you can get
involved in this hobby. Times are from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the
Hollywood Fire Department. We'll even give you a chance to get on the air
and make several contacts under the guidance of a Ham coach. We ask that you
do not bring any pets, with the exception of registered service animals.
