Good morning gang,

For those of you that have met my daughter Dora (KC3DQB) you'll be pleased to hear that she will be attending CSM this fall for mechanical engineering. She won a nice scholarship from the local Corvette club and another larger scholarship from the Patuxent Partnership so her first two years is paid for (woohoo!). After that she plans to continue as a part of the UMD mechanical engineering program (perhaps through a program that Pax River offers) for her Bachelor's. I know we have some engineers and engineer's bosses in the crowd... can you offer any recommendations on software we'll want to invest in? She hasn't pinned down a particular speciality yet but any thoughts on general use mechanical engineering software that is used in the field would be greatly appreciated.
