[SMCARA] Crimpers

Power Poles are definitely a weak link in power...And in a mobile
configurations a total waste. I have or had them on my base unit and after
issues with the lack of anything positive about locking the two together
for a solid connection I removed them and was able to connect directly to
power supply.I will add one other thing about the power poles. Keep in mind
that a loose or intermittent connection adds more resistance.. More
resistance means more current which adds to great voltage draw on the
battery and alternator. Lose the power poles and use the twist on power
connection (wraps) or some in-line insolated splice that is either crimped
or soldered for something positive. Johnson Power-poles are in my opinion a
waste and in a mobile config definitely asking for trouble..... Just my
opinion.....Bill
