[SMCARA] Contest Club meeting

If you are interested in Radio Sport (Commonly known as Contesting) - you
might be interested in the Potomac Valley Radio Club (PVRC).  Founded in the
days after WWII, the club is dedicated to the advancement of the radio art
through active participation in Ham Radio contesting.  There are no dues to
join the club, rather your dues are to participate and submit logs in at
least 2 of the 29 annual contests with club participation entries. 

 

To join the club, you need to be nominated, attend 2 meetings, and be voted
in by the membership.  One of these meetings will be happening on May 21st -
see the announcement below:

The Southern Maryland Chapter of the PVRC will meet on Thursday, May 21st -
The meeting location is the Lexington Park Library in the Longfellow Room.

We'll meet at 6:30 with business at 7:00 - Dinner afterwards at a local
eatery for those who would like to eat and exchange fish stories.
