[SMCARA] 146.640 Repeater Status

As of about 2015 hours last night it appears our repeater was remotely
powered off. This is an unfortunate set of events because Tom is out of
town at the moment. We are working ways to get access to the repeater
and reset the controller as it is not responding to our commands.

I will also check with those knowledgeable to see if the controller
codes can be changed being that someone out there has them and seems not
to want embrace the fun for everyone spirit of Amateur Radio. 

If this controller can not be changed then we as a club may want to
consider a different controller that we can lock down to prevent this
from happening again.

Please be patient as we work the issue. We will post another message
once the repeater is back on-line.
