[SMCARA] Scouts and radio

I have been negligent to pass on these two bits of news:
1) BSA is now accepting applications for the 2017 Jamboree Staff.  Like
2014, it will be held at the Bechtel Scout Reservation near Mount Hope, WV
along the New River. If you have a general or extra license, you will most
likely be accepted on the spot and then be told to register for Scouts!  

2) Boy Scouts are now offering a new merit badge:  "Signs, Signals and
Codes."  
It is a direct descendent of the old 'Signaling" merit badge.  Radio merit
badge is still part of the line up and Morse code with "Q" signals can
fulfill several of the requirements for Radio MB, but that can also count
for credit in the new Sign, Signals and Codes MB.

If you are a counselor for Radio, (Dan, I am looking at YOU)  then consider
becoming a counselor for signs, signals and codes too.
