BRING YOU 2-METER ANTENNAS TO FIELD DAY FOR THE ANTENNA GAIN CONTEST

The 2-Meter antenna gain contest and testing demonstration hosted by Joe Moraski, KY3F, has been opened up to include all 2-meter antennas, both commercial and home-brew.  The event will kick off at 2:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon as part of SMCARA 2015 Field Day Activities.  You may contact Joe at:  metlfish (at) md.metrocast.net.  Details of the event:

Purpose:
1)  Demonstrate the process of measuring antenna gain.  
2)  Compete for highest measured forward gain against other antennas brought by members of the SMCARA.
Antenna Categories for Awards:  
1)  Vertically Polarized
2)  Horizontally Polarized
Antenna Gain Testing:  Gain measurements as recorded by the gain measurement team are final.
Awards:  All participants will receive a certificate of participation noting antenna design tpe, measured forward gain, and standing.
