By the way..Have not said anything hoping things would change. But as of
June 30th my company is out of work. We have been on extensions since last
Dec and finally we are off the fence. We are relocationg to Florida. I will
be looking for work down in that area and have had a few contacts in
Florida in general to here. But the competition is fierce here and maybe
age is a factor (even though that is not supposed to be an official
factor). I will be living north of Jax and will join the local group there
NOFARS. And hope to, once the dust settles, and we get back back to normal
doing more.  Its been enjoyable and have met new friends and have had a lot
of help from all in learning my new hobby. I plan on expanding that (CW and
other modes) and could not have done that I know now without the help of
all here in SMCARA. I would loved to have stayed and wanted to jump in on
the classes to assist but know I could not dedicate the time. We are
leaving next week to look for rental places near Jax and looking for a more
permanent spot within the year. We will back towards the end of the month
to finish things with company and then move mid-July. I plan to stay on the
air and hope to see all of you on the air and keep contact with the group
even as an outsider from Florida. I will still have my same email address
and will be on the reflector if allowed. I hope field day is a great
success and if I get back in time, will drop by to visit! My best wishes to
