[SMCARA] Zenith console radio

I love old radios, but my shop is full of projects right now! Dave Willenborg also is a fan, but is concentrating on tabletops, etc. He may be able to suggest a local club or group that might be interested. There is a group called the Mid Atlantic Antique Radio Club ( http://www.maarc.org) that is a group of radio restorers. They also have a swap meet up in the Baltimore area and monthly meetings in Davidsonville (Annapolis).

I had two 1937 RCA console radio/phono combos and decided to keep the one in better condition and use the other for parts. I then took the "reject" to the St Andrews Transfer station. I didn't even get it off the truck when someone ran up and said " I love that radio, can I have it"?. Problem solved!

Tom

Chris,

There are several in the club who enjoy restoring older radios or do I dare say vintage radios. I am cc'ing the reflector so that they can see why you are asking and chime in.
